Hi, I became Chair in August 2021 having been Secretary & Rallies Organiser in the past. I have been and still am an active member of the club so hope to see you at a rally, camp or competiton. 

I have 2 gorgeous Irish horses. Basil is the sort of horse everyone wants to own, easy going, keen but rarely silly. In 2020 I bought the lovely Al to take the strain off Basil, who was finding his work load a little too much. Al is a 16.2 gentle giant who I am looking forward to eventing with.

 Hi, I’m Holly,
I joined this lovely riding club shortly after moving to Gloucestershire in 2012.
I attended a number of rallies over the years & even found the courage to take part in a few dressage competitions.
Now I prefer to spend my free time running my dog in agility competitions & being a ‘happy hacker’.
I enjoy being able to support this club & all its members any way I can.

Hi, I am Sally and have just joined the committee as Treasurer. I have been a member of BDRC since 2015 and have owned the wonderful Miss Mouse since late 2013. Representing the Senior age bracket, I have thrown myself into as much club activity as I can (while I still can!) and have had so much fun and made many friends along the way. BDRC is a warm, welcoming club and I hope to add to that whilst keeping the books in order.

Hi, my name is Claire. I have recently joined the committee after being in the riding club for a couple of years with my lovely ginger boy Soli. I’ve made some amazing friends through the club after moving down here from the Midlands & not really knowing anyone! It’s also been absolutely great for building my confidence as I was a right nervous nelly at first. Now we love going to rallies & especially camp which is so much fun! Hi, I'm Shanice, and have been a member of  BDRC for 4 years. I have now joined the committee after thoroughly enjoying being part of the club. I have owned Verni for 7 years and we regularly compete in several teams throughout the year, also taking part in camp and rallies too! Whilst being on the committee I will be organising our Annual Camps at Pontispool & Stockland Lovell

Hi. My name is Sarah and I rejoined B&DRC about 6 years ago after a 17 year gap due to family and work.   I really love being part of the club again, taking part in rallies, camp and teams.  I have a lovely horse Rio that we bought from Gill Lawry as a happy hack to teach my partner to ride. However Rio has turned into a bit of a star who will turn his hoof to any discipline so Dave doesn’t get a look in!  Having recently stopped work I have time to help out on the committee. My main role is managing the rallies- so booking dates, venues and instructors.

Hi, I’m Gill and I can remember when the club was first set up back in the early 80s. I have been a member for most of this time including previous committee membership which just goes to show how long I have been around!! I’ve have a bay mare called Dolly and we mainly do dressage attempting to work at BD elementary.

You may also have seen me on my son's horse, Fred when I need a little jump fix!

I’m responsible for organising dressdown dressage and co-ordinating team managers.

Role- Newsletter & Social 

 Hi, I’m Julie – I recently joined the committee having spent a couple of years attending the club’s rallies and camps which I have very much enjoyed. Banner and I generally spend time hacking with friends. With support from club members I have developed my confidence to a level where I have even had a go at dressage! I will be responsible for organising socials and pulling together our Newsletter so please let me have any articles/pics you would like included
