Booking a Rally: For all rallies, please send your name, tel. no., list of rallies and post dated cheques (with rally details on the reverse of each separate cheque) to the organisers.
Places will not be guaranteed unless cheques have been received at least one week before the rally date. Insufficient cheques received one week before will result in the rally being cancelled. Cancellations must be received one week prior to the rally; cheques will be cashed after this time unless places can be filled.
Please try and book rallies in advance to make the rally organiser’s job easier, don’t forget insufficient cheques received one week before will result in the rally being cancelled.
Please be ready
In order to ensure all groups and all riders get the most out of the instructors time, please can you be on board and warmed up (where location allows) before your rally start time.
Safety Measure
As a sensible measure, could all members ensure that when you attend rallies or other events that you either have on you or leave with the organiser / instructor a contact number or any relevant medical information, so that in an event of an accident, we can contact family or friends. This will save a lot of time should we need to call someone.
Body Protectors
Riders will be required to wear a body protector at ALL Cross Country Rallies.
Please be tidy.
We are very fortunate to have some really good venues to hold rallies. Please, please can you make sure that when you leave a rally venue you leave it clean and tidy. Please can you pick up any droppings from round your trailer and the school and ensure you take all your litter home with you. Thanks.
Intro Club
The committee is very keen to encourage more of our less experienced or competitive members to join in more of our activities. So we have decided to set up the Intro Club aimed at those who would like to try new things but really don’t want to jump higher than 2.0”
We hope to introduce dressage, show jumping and cross country but all at a very basic level to encourage riders to ‘ have a go ‘.
After you have tried things at this level and gained confidence we hope you will go on to bigger and better things, if you want to!
Membership is free, a ‘club within a club’ but we do need to know who would be interested. We hope you will encourage a friend to join who might think riding clubs are too high powered for them.
If you are interested in finding out more information about Intro Club please contact Jayne Meehan on 01454 294207 or e-mail jayne.meehan@btinternet.com.
