Emile Faurie Foundation
Many thanks to all of you who donated items and bought things from the Pontispool Auction.  We raised £570 which was donated to the Emile Faurie Foundation.  Attached is a lovely letter received from Emile to thank us.
 
Badminton Course Walk
We had about 30 people attend the course walk on 25th April.  The weather was lovely and Ros Jones gave us a very informative talk on the course.  Many thanks to her.  Also, many thanks to Sherry and Brian Higham who again invited us for tea at their house afterwards and Brian gave us a wonderful tour round the stables which are all ready for the horses to arrive.  Thank you to Zillah for organising this.  We raised £150 which will be donated to Badminton's charity for this year which is World Horse Welfare.

Hunter Trial Sunday 18th April 2010

Thank you to everyone who had anything to do with our Hunter Trial yesterday.
 
It was a beautiful day and we had 200 entries for our competition at Leyland Court. Although we had several minor hold ups and a broken arm we managed to finish just ahead of time.
 
Thank You to all the members, partners, families and friends who turned up to help on the saturday and sunday. We cannot do these things without you and we are always grateful for the support that you give to the committee and our Berkeley events.
 
Well done to all the Berkeley ladies who rode - I saw lots of happy faces.

Hartpury Dressage Sunday 11th April 2010

A very big thank you to Rachel Kuczaj, Nicci Phelps, Alex Mason and Sarah George (who stood in at 8.00 Saturday morning!) for taking part in the inter clubs competition as part of the dressage festival at Hartpury at the weekend and all the big names were there including us!! Zillah and I had a lovely time and everyone competed well. Special mention goes to Rachel who hasn't done much dressage thus far and she and Connor got a fantastic score, looking forward to seeing more of them! Thank you again ladies.

Area Winter Dressage Sunday 27th February 2010

I would like to give a very big Thank You to the ladies who competed in the Winter Dressage Qualifier at Hartpury last Saturday. The Yellow team of Claire Miskelly, Kate Nichols, Jo Jones and Sue Exel (last minute stand-in, thank you Sue) came 6th which is a great result. Everyone did their very best and the green team of Sophie Williams, Nicci Phelps, Helen James and Alex Mason all did well but weren't quite in the placings. I hope you all enjoyed the day as much as I did and I will post out the sheets in the next few days. Thank you again for making team managing so easy and enjoyable. Ann Marshall

Don't forget you need to work up 5 hours of helping this year to maintain your membership. Please let Helen Abraham know of any hours you have worked.  Remember - no help, no membership renewal.

Your hours can be worked helping at rallies, members competitions, the ODE at West Littleton on 6th June.  Friends and Family are allowed to work your hours for you!
